I get a blue screen that reads: disable bios memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select advanced startup options , and then select safe mode.

I had this problem with a PC Camera and USB driver. I could not get rid of the blue screen and it gave the same instructions as your. My PC Camera USB driver was conflicting with BIOS memory. So, I went in and disabled all USB Ports and was able to get rid of the blue screen. I could not even get into any of the choices on the emergency boot menu. Later, I enabled the USB Ports again. All is well now. Bad drivers cause these problems. If yours is external like mine, you may be able to solve it.
