I was wondering if anyone else here has run into the same issue that I have when installing Windows Vista RC1. My copy works fine, but one thing I did notice, is that when you create a new partition in Setup, it doesn't ask you to format it. I skpped this the first time, but the next time i remembered it. When I did it it only took about 10 seconds on my 40 gig HD. I was wondering if thats what should happen or if Setup automatically formats the partition when it is created. Thanks |

If you create a new partition and don't format it yourself, Setup will format it before installing. -- Richard G.
