Where is winzip located ? For some reason my XP is using UZ ( ultraZip ? ) to unzip almost any zip I download and I don't know how my system even got UZ. How do I make my system use Winzip as the default ? |

Try http://www.winzip.com/ after you d/l it you s/b ok. UZ may be the same thing. XP comes w/an unzip program as part of the OS. I didn't know that when I d/l'ed Winzip. You need to uninstall the UZ program first, then install Winzip. It sounds like Ultra Zip stole Winzip's file associations. One easy way to get them back would be to install winzip again. |

Just start Winzip and go into Options/Configuration/System Check the box for Winzip to be associated with archives. |
