Was it one stick of a gig or two of 512? If the latter, what does you computer say the amount of RAM is? Perhaps the RAM isn't seated well. Check it. Alias |

Just had this EXACT problem with a customer. We had a gigabyte motherboard, and corsair memory. Unfortunately, the solution for us was that we had to replace the memory with a different brand to get it to work properly. Hopefully this is not the case for you. -- Sincerely, Chris windows@futuretechsys.com www.futuretechsys.com - remote support available for all Windows OSs. Is the memory you bought recomemended by the MB maker for use on their board? Another option is to test the ram using several of these programs.
