USB Options Advertisers

I have Media center 2005 sp2.
Why does my computer see my Epson stylus cx6600 as an USB mass storage
device. It is getting in the way of me using my USB external storage.
If I disable The Epson USB mass storage device or turn off the printer I
cannot even see my USB hard drive.

You may wish to post in the appropriate media center newsgroup.

Being that Media center is nothing more than pro, What's the difference?

There is no difference really.
You may not have enough power to power your USB device, if you are going
through a non powered hub then try a powered hub, failing that use the USB
ports in the montherboard.

Because it contains a card reader slot. Your external drive problems lie
elsewhere.

Thank you. At least I now know why my printer is recognized as it is. So
what you are saying is the drive H under the printer is the card reader.
That explains alot.
Thanks again
