I would like to know if there is a program which can switch on my PC while it is OFF. I want to wake up and find my PC ON rather than to wait couple of minutes for the windows to start! ... :) Time is precious, u know. Adam |

If the pc is powered off, then no programs can run, therefore NO! Some systems do. |

Get yourself a TV Tuner card, some have the functionailty of booting the PC up with an automatic logon. If you don't want to start recording on boot up, then just boot the PC up using the remote. Better still, when you wake up, press the power button on your PC whilst on your way to the dunny, then to the kitchen to make your coffee. - Winux P |

You might try enabling Hibernation in the power options and hibernating instead (really reduces bootup time, since you're just loading a saved RAM image of an already running system). You might also want to check your BIOS to see if it has a wake-at-time feature.
