On my laptop, when I SINGLE click on a folder in the left pane of Windows Explorer, the files/folders in that folder appear in the right pane AND the folder expands in the left pane, showing subfolders. This does not happen on my desktop however... the folder does not expand in the left pane unless I DOUBLE click it. Where is the setting for this?? |

Go to Control Panel and double click Folder Options. Click on the View tab. Find "Display simple folder view in Explorer's Folders list" in the Advanced Settings box. It sounds like it's checked on your laptop and unchecked on your desktop. Good luck Nepatsfan |
