Bookmarks Options Advertisers

Just asking if anyone can tell me why I have to close my browser window once
I open it the first time , and sign in again, because my bookmarks do not
load when I 1st come online.
I have tried upgrading the browser , but that did not fix it. I also called
my internet provider and they could not help !
I am running Win XP HOME.....

Any Ideas would help !!

Thank You
Claire

What browser?

The First Question Of Troubleshooting: what changed between the time
things worked and the time they didn't?

The Second Question of Windows Troubleshooting: what is the
malware/virus status of the machine? If you think it is clean, what
programs (and versions) did you use to determine this?

Hi...

I was using IE 6 at the time this started , ran spyware check and virus
check on here and came up clean .....
My IP provider had me update browser to IE 7 , but I am still having to open
the browser and close and open again for bookmarks to load....
Its a pain but at least they do come up finally....

Any ideas would help.....

I think that IE is a part of XP x, try running [sfc /scannow] from a
command
prompt. (found under accessories),
