East Asian language support on XP sp2 without OEM istall disks?? Options Advertisers

This machine was preinstalled with XP when bought it .. now i find that
i cannot read words in foreign languages using The Internet .. i get
pages of ??????????????????????????????? with certain sensible english
words dispersed amongst all the ???????????? ?????????????? ???'s

When i attempt to enlist the East asian language support i am asked to
insert the original oem disks but i dont have them and never had them

Is there any way around this?? i have miscrosoft validation of my
install via the online service .. so is there some whay i can access
these really rudimentary files online??

For years i have had little interest in reading foreign languages but i
find myself keenly interested now

You may have an illegal copy of XP installed on your PC. Go to the below
websites for a free replacement of the XP CD if yours is ligitimate. Also
get the Key Code off your PC.

Why would you think that? All too many cheap OEMs decline to provide CDs.

Try again, and, when prompted for the CD, browse to the c:\i386 folder
on your hard drive. I'm not sure your computer's manufacturer would
have included the necessary files will be there, but it's one thing to
try.

Failing that, contact the computer's manufacturer and ask them how to
install the feature.
