Is it possible to remove or "hide" (any more than it already is!) wordpad from Windows XP? If so, How would one be able to do it? |

Why, what has wordpad done to you that makes you want to remove it? I'm not sure but if you go to Control Panel/Add Remove Programs/Windows Programs on the left. Alias |

You could: -- Delete the .exe file, but then it'll never be usable again. -- Rename it to something innocuous like wordpad.exe becomes MyList.biz. Just be sure you remember what you renamed it to. -- Relocate it so it's not findable to some obscure folder. -- Delete it from All Programs/Applications etc.. Then the executable will still exist if you want it later. Pop |
