Mouse Buttons and Selections broken since 9/12 patch Options Advertisers

My mouse buttons settings and selections appear to have been randomized by
the latest security patch. My Kensington Expert Mouse (really a trackball)
lost the ability to use one of it's buttons (my primary click button) and for
no reason at all the cursor starts selecting everything it passes over.
Did intelitype get in the last patch? How do I turn it off?

Intellitype drivers are for Microsoft keyboards mainly.

Intellipoint drivers are mainly for the Microsoft mice.

These are completely separate from XP and must be installed separately. They
do not get any updates from Windows Updates.

Did you ever installed an Intellipoint driver onto your XP?
