XP Home edition. While looking through explorer I noticed Starware was present and Google said it was a browser helper with spyware and adware. It's difficult to remove and my Adaware SE, Spybot S & D, Spyware Blaster, and Defender don't touch it. Tried a scan with some program from Google which detected it but want about $30 for a tool to remove it. Sneaky!! Does anyone know how I can get rid of this and if not, is it really so bad? TIA Stan |
