My printers will disappear from time to time and I have learned it is because the LexBce Server service is disabled. The print spooler is dependent on it. I do not have any Lexmark printers, nor have I had them. I did work for a corporation that might have had them, but I don't recall installing any Lexmark Printer. Can I safely get rid of the LexBce.exe and if so, how do I do it while still keeping my print spooler working? |

I checked my add/remove programs and there is not lexmark program or Markvision program installed. However, as I stated in a previous thread, LexBce is listed in my services and it must be started in order for the print spooler to work. I honestly don't care if it is there or not, except that I cannot keep it loaded and I have to constantly change it (LexBce) from disable to Automatic. It will not stay on Automatic and therefore all my printers disappear.
