Excel Options Advertisers

I've just bought a new PC with microsoft works version 8. I have excel
spreadsheets I have to use, I found the viewer but I need to edit them. Any
ideas? Thanks in advance.

Buy Excel. You might find the free Open Office works. I'm not sure as I
don't use it but it would be worth looking into if you don't want to buy
Excel.

Open Office will be just fine if the workbooks don't contain complicated
macros.

File/Open file (if I remember)

and open the file in .XLS format (or similar).

If you decide to purchase Excel either as part of a Office edition or a
stand-alone, your Works 8 is a qualifying product for the upgrade version.

1) Go to store/shop that sells computer software.

2) Purchase Excel (or the Office suite).

3) Return home.

4) Insert installation CD in PC's CD drive and follow the on-screen
prompts and instructions to install application and desired additional
features.

For the budget-minded (who also don't need all of Excel's more
advanced features), there's the free, open source OpenOffice:
