folders Options Advertisers

I hope I can make this question make sence... I'm not a huge computer
person....(as you'll see)

I must have messed up my folder behavior. I open My documents or My
pictures, I can't move them around like before like when you see a line and
can put the folder there. If I extract a zip file, it extracts somewhere in
the folder, but not right next to the zip like it used to. They also won't
seem to "sort by name".

I hope someone can tell me how to fix this...
Thanks
Michelle

Right click an open spot in the right hand section of your My
Documents folder.
On the menu that pops out, move the mouse pointer over "Arrange
Icons By".
On the menu that appears, click on Auto Arrange.
Right click again, but this time click on Name.
Move some items around to see if this is the type of behavior
you're trying to achieve.
If it is, do the following.
Click on tools on the toolbar at the top of the window.
Select Folder Options from the menu that drops down.
In Folder Options, click on the View tab.
Hit the "Apply to all folders" button.
Click OK.

Good luck
