My windows xp Home Edition is slow to open programs. I have used Regcure, I've scanned, defragged, done disk cleanup - run adaware - There are only 3 visible startup programs - what could be the problem please? Judy |

Since I wrote that msg, I noticed that when I was opening Mozilla Firefox browser, it was taking a long long time to open up (I thought) - but in actually fact, it had opened into a 2" x 1/2" screen in top left hand corner, no wonder I hadnt seen it. I'll keep an eye on things and see if its still slow to respond. I had even deleted outlook and reinstalled it in case there was an error. At this moment, things are ok. Judy |
