My entire office has this problem... If our Office apps are closed and we try to open an Office file from Explorer, our desktop or any other location, it will not open the application along with it. If we launch Excel, Word, etc., first, then we can open the file. Anyone have any ideas? |

If you're using Symantec/Norton AntiVirus, try disabling the Office Plugin that comes with it. See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=329820 "How to use Office programs with the Norton antivirus Office plug-in" for more information.
