Matrix? Options Advertisers

I am looking for a good program/resource to build a Matrix that would be easy
to follow and would be built around existing products and what it takes to
build it. EX. I need to build a box with a cover (can the matrix show me
what I need?) and then I need to build a box without a cover(can the matrix
show me what I need?) Any ideas would be appreciated.

You need something that can be incorporated into a CAD program. Which one
are you using?

No, it is not to be incorporated in CAD, I am looking for more of a general
type Matrix I can create depending on certain criteria that would be needed
for each box in the Matrix. It is more of any easy refernece guide so that
we don't miss any items that we need to include. EX: If I am building
something in a certain configuration, what components do I need. The
components would cross over into different parts of the Matrix; the same
items are used in many doferent configurations.

My husband is a designer and I am a former AutoCAD drafter. The task your
looking at doing is best down in cooperation with your drafting package. I
suppose you could do something in Excel with filters but it would not be a
simple task.
