Whenever I boot my laptop in the docking station, the system starts wiht Num Lock in the ON position like I want. But on the road, Num Lock always seems to boot in the OFF position. How can I force it to come up ON in all boot situations? |

Do you have a dedicated numeric keypad on your laptop. If you don't and numlock comes up defaulted on, the keys that have the "numeric keypad" will not type the regular letters (u-4, i-5, o-8, j-1 k-2, l-3, m-0) If you still want the numeric keypad to open up, search the internet (google) for numlock and windows xp.
