Each time I try to insert a WMF file, whether local or on the MS Office Clip Art site, it locks either Powerpoint 2003 or Word 2003. I must kill the application to exit through task Manager. Has anyone seen this behavior before? Other image types are fine (JPG, GIF, BMP, etc). Symptom is only on WMF files. |

I am presently having a very similar problem in all my Office 2003 apps. I cannot import or see WMF files. All other graphic file types work fine. I get an error when trying to import a .wmf file into either Publisher or Word. I also cannot see any graphic files of .wmf type that were part of existing publications. I searched for an answer to this problem for the last 2 days without having any luck. This started 2 days ago. I believe a M/S update could be the root of the problem.
