Removing microsoft Office Options Advertisers

HI,
I have a windows 98 computer with both Office 2000 Professional and Office
2000 Premium installed. I want to remove the 2000 Professional. Is there
anything I need to worry about when I remove the 2000 Professional? Shared
files etc........

Thanks,
--
Phil

Backing up your work files in never a bad idea.

If memory serves me correctly Premium is Professional with added apps, and I
cannot remember what was added, maybe Frontpage?. So unless you remove an
individual component a removal of one will impact on the other.
They also by default install to the same location, so unless you did a
custom install to a unique location, and really did install both, remove one
will likely remove the other

RE: Removing microsoft Office Options Advertisers

Hey Phil,
Also, outlook keeps your personal data (Mail Configuration, saved emails,
folders, etc...) in your folder within documents and Settings on you root
drive (2 folders: Local Settings\Application Data). Just FYI in case you want
to use the info with other applications.

The beta office found and migrated my settings without issue, I also
installed over my office basic version.
