For some reason, the auto text I've set up in Word doesn't seem to stay after I reboot the machine. It's working fine with no prblem when I set it up the very first time. I've also tried to load a new template with all the auto texts I created under Tools\Templates and Add-Ins\Global templates and add-ins box. Same thing here, it only works the very first time. The template is not automatically reloaded by itself. I've tried to replace the Normal.dot file as well and even reload the Office but still no solution. Can anyone please help? Thank you. |

Is Adobe Acrobat 7.0 installed on the computer? If yes, then the Acrobat 7.0 Create Adobe PDF toolbar add-in for Word prevents Word from automatically saving changes to the normal.dot template (which is where autotext entries are stored). See http://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/331259.html for several solutions to the problem.
