I found out how to set up desktop email alerts by a microsoft member, but the only time I get the alert is if the email program is left open, which seems stupid to me. If my email program is open I already know I have new email. Same with my calendar reminders. I have to open my email to know I have a reminder. I think there should be away to get these alerts without the email being open. Just like aol and incredimail can do. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. If the program isn't running, how would you expect it to alert you?!?!?!?!?! Minimize it, and you have what AOL and Incredimail do. want.
