Windows xp home dual core cpu support

XP Home, dual core CPU support? Options Advertisers


I'm building a new PC with a dual-core processor and I've read that I will
need to buy windows xp Professional 'cause the Home edition doesn't support
dual-core CPU's, is this true?

As with hyperthreading,home runs 2 processors.

No.

It won't support MULTIPLE processors, but it will support
hyperthreading and dual core.

No.

No, it's not true.

It doesn't support two separate processors,, but it does support a dual-core
processor.
